I just tried out this new massage place and I’m really glad I did. Even though it’s a new shop, the atmosphere felt very comfortable and welcoming. The massage therapist I had was excellent — skilled, attentive, and really knew how to work out the tension. I walked out feeling like a completely new person. They’re also offering special discounts right now for their grand opening, which makes it even more worth checking out. If you’re looking for a high-quality massage in a nice new space, I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

I’m visiting from Ohio and brought my sister here for her birthday, and we had the best experience! We originally just had chair massages booked, but they were kind enough to move us to a table massage instead. The place is super clean and has such a relaxing vibe. Everyone was so friendly—it was the perfect birthday surprise. Highly recommend!

Woke up today and my wife, on a whim, said, “let’s get a massage today.” We decided to try Arctic Spa & Massage, as they recently opened, for the first time. Wow! The focus and detail Sandy & Leo provided - which I presume are a couple (I may be wrong) and and operating a family business - to discover the source location of pain and soreness was unbelievably incredible. My left shoulder blade and lower back are constant sources of pain and Leo (who was my masseuse) rooted it out quickly. They are responsive to any feedback and aren’t afraid of using lots of pressure (which I appreciated) to isolate and remove soreness. The massage was fantastic! Wow! My wife and I discovered they’ve been in operation for one month. Let’s band together Anchorage and support this local, family-operated, business. I will definitely return and look forward to supporting Sandy & Leo for years to come. Excellent service. Very clean environment. Awesome owners focused on quality and service. 100%! Thanks Leo!

This very well may have been the best massage I've ever had!! I have been experiencing really bad pain under my right shoulder blade and wanted to try out a new place and they delivered!! My husband and I did a couple's massage, my masseuse was Sandy and my husband's masseur was Leo and we were both beyond impressed. I requested focus on my shoulder blade and Sandy did exactly that and more!! Will DEFINITELY be back! Doesn't look like much from the outside but inside is incredibly clean and service was excellent.

I decided to try this place after reading so many positive reviews, and I’m so glad I did. Judy will be my regular masseuse after she worked wonders on me. I had very crunchy and knotty shoulders and she was determined to work them out. I asked for lots of pressure and she delivered! Since it was a lot of pressure, she made sure to check in with me along the way. I also noticed that the circulation in my legs was much better after she worked her magic. I did 90 minutes, half acupressure and half hot oil. If you are in need of deep muscle work, run don’t walk to Arctic Spa and Massage! Judy will get you right and she’s so sweet!

I just had my first massage at Arctic Star and it was wonderful! I did a 90 minute hot oil massage. My masseuse (sorry I didn’t get her name!) was very thorough and I just felt myself melting during the massage. The spa is clean and tranquil. I would highly recommend supporting this new business!

I scheduled a 90 minute deep tissue with hot oil. It had been a while since my last massage so I was overdue. Needless to say, I limped outta there. But the next morning, I had improved range of motion and my daily headaches were gone. I highly recommend Leo. He was professional and very skilled. He has really strong hands so be prepared!

Arctic Star is a standout! My experience here was excellent, as Judy completely resolved some serious back pain I was dealing with and helped with some other pain points I wasn’t even aware of. It was a relaxing and rejuvenating massage from someone who is very good at her job, and she even offered some at home remedies to help with these issues going forward. Highly recommended!

My friend is visiting me from out of town and we decided last minute to give them a call and see if we could get in for a massage. We were able to come in the same day and let me say… I have had many massages in my life and this was hands down the best massage I have ever had. Everyone was very sweet and the establishment was very clean and cozy. I can confidently say I will be sleeping very good tonight. Thank you so much for the amazing service :)

Judy did my massage. GREAT massage! Especially for the price! I had a 90 minute massage (with their current deal of $20 off a massage longer than 1 hour), back walking for free and cupping for $10. I feel rejuvenated and ready to take a nap! 😍 She was timely, attentive and communicative. Thank you! Will definitely come back here next time I'm in town.
